If you are one of everyone who is tired of the weather forecasts never being true, it is a weather station in the home just what you need. Such a thermometer gives you current and reliable values ​​for your particular area, something that weather forecasts in apps or in larger media channels cannot provide you. If you have decided that it is time to invest in a thermometer, you have come a long way on the road. Now it is only a matter of the right thermometer, which suits you and your home.

Models
There is everything from simple analog thermometers that show the weather how it looks at the moment, to advanced weather stations with data on precipitation, temperature and much more. As with many other things, it is the price that determines how advanced the model you want. Many cheap models rarely present equally accurate data and tend to miss important information.

With an analog thermometer, you simply place it where you want to measure the temperature, and then read it. These are often very cheap to purchase and often can measure temperatures from -30 ° C up to 40 ° C. The disadvantage, however, is that it is connected with a cord between the inner and outer parts, which means that you must use the window frame or a hole in the wall.

A digital thermometer provides much more detailed information and can read temperatures in multiple locations. Here it is often the price range that determines the thermometer's capacity and functions, where you can, among other things, choose between a wireless thermometer or one with a cord between the inside and outside part. Whether you choose one with or without cord, the digital display can show both indoor and outdoor temperatures, weather forecast, clock and much more.

No matter what price range or model you buy, the placement is of great importance to the function. A weather station consists of at least two parts: one main unit and one or more sensors. The main unit is placed indoors, which does not affect the function. You can have it in one place that you think suits you best, simply. A battery-powered weather station can be a little tricky to open, if you don't have the right tools.
